Simon Margolis, the founder of the Premex Group, is set to step aside from his role as CEO and become the company's chairman. Premex Services’ managing director, Donald Fowler, will become the new CEO from 1 October.
Bill Clynes, who has led the business with Margolis since its formation in 1996, and is currently group managing director, will move to the role of group commercial director.
Mike Cutler, who currently manages the Rehabilitation brand, will assume the new expanded role of managing director of both Premex Services and Premex Rehabilitation while Ian Hill will remain in his role as group finance director.
“One of the many reasons Premex has enjoyed success is the stability of its management team," said Margolis. "Whilst this restructure might appear to represent lots of change, in reality it is the opposite. It is a natural step for the individuals involved and we are confident our new board structure will ensure the continued delivery of our strategy over the coming years.”
“Donald’s leadership is essential for Premex," said Margolis. "He has managed the business through significant change including the current industry reforms, the evolution of Premex’s industry leading IT platform, the launch of new services and the company’s acquisition by ExamWorks in 2011.”
