Horwich Farrelly has expanded its top team with three new partners.

The defendant litigation law firm has strengthened with the appointments of Claire Fox, Robert Bennett and Michael Deery.

Fox, a specialist defendant litigation lawyer, has been promoted to partner having previously been employed as a solicitor and associate at the firm having worked in personal injury and insurance disputes for over 19 years.

Experienced civil litigation lawyer Bennett has also been promoted from associate. He specialises in high value cases, dealing with professional indemnity, commercial disputes, banking disputes and PPI claims.

Deery, the only new partner to have been recruited from outside the firm, brings over 20 years of experience to Horwich Farrelly and will advise global organisations and insurers in commercial and insurance law. He is also a qualified legal translator from French to English.

Anthony Hughes, CEO of Horwich Farrelly, said that both Fox and Bennett were well respected members of the team.

"It is great to have been able to reward their hard work and see them progress to partner," he said.

“Michael brings an added dimension to the team, as in him, we have an extremely experienced commercial lawyer, with a proven track record in high value cases.

“We have a very strong team here at Horwich Farrelly, and as we continue to grow, we are committed to providing the best service possible for our clients, and these new appointments will only help with that."
