Both DWF and DAC Beachcroft have put staff in their claims departments on redundancy alert.

Legal Week has reported that a consultation at DWF could leave up to 37 staff redundant, after it announced that it would a restructuring its fraud and motor team in Liverpool, while The Law Society Gazette has said that DAC Beachcroft has placed 65 people from its claims validation team at risk of losing their jobs in Manchester.

According to Legal Week, DWF has blamed the drop in motor fraud litigation instructions for the move, while also saying that improved IT efficiencies have meant less work for administration staff.
