Drainage and water mains claims specialist Auger has appointed nine new members of staff.
The new employees include six engineers, taking its dedicated engineering network to more than 80 people.
The new recruits will be put through the Auger Academy, where they will be trained in the relevant skills in engineering, account management and technology.
Nicola Lyon, head of recruitment and people development at Auger, said: “We’re finding the academy to be hugely beneficial as we expand further. This means we can train our new employees in the skills they need in the same way and provide a consistent high level of service our clients have come to expect wherever they are.”
Training under the Auger Academy includes partnering engineers with senior staff. This is supported by technology. including bespoke software tools and apps that allow staff to file information and reports quickly and easily from wherever they are in the UK.
Auger is recruiting for further new staff in a range of engineering roles around the UK, including drain repair, drainage investigation, subsidence investigation and water mains.
