QuestGates appoints former Howden UK claims director to new role

Loss adjuster QuestGates has appointed Anna Burt to the newly created role of operations manager for the specialist services division.

Burt has joined QuestGates from Howden, where she was executive director for UK claims for six years.

In that role, Burt led and delivered the claims strategy across UK and international locations, with teams spanning a wide range of insurance classes, including rural, real estate, sports, corporate and private clients.

In her new role at QuestGates, Burt will initially be responsible for overseeing the operations of the rapidly growing agricultural team and subsidiary business, Hyperion, whose team was boosted with the acquisition of Focus Claim & Risk Management last November.

This will include working with both teams’ technical leaders to ensure they have the right support and structure to manage increasing case volumes in the UK and overseas.

Our Hyperion subsidiary and agricultural teams in particular are seeing volumes go through the roof as we win more business in both areas.”
