Hastings Direct appoints DAC Beachcroft to new legal claims panel

Law firm DAC Beachcroft has joined the new legal claims panel of Hastings Direct, the UK general insurance provider.

The appointment sees DAC Beachcroft’s claims solutions group handle counter fraud, bodily injury, third-party property damage and credit hire claims for Hastings Direct, with effect from 1 April 2022 for an initial three-year period.

Craig Dickson, chief executive officer of the DAC Beachcroft claims solutions group, which acts for 19 of the top 20 UK insurers and a growing number of corporate clients, resolving casualty, motor, property, regulatory and strategic litigation claims, commented: “We have long aspired to act for Hastings Direct, so are delighted to have secured this appointment to its legal claims panel.”
