BCAA’s partnership with Blink Parametric: revolutionising travel insurance

BCAA, one of the most trusted brands in Canada for providing travel insurance, has launched a parametric product suite which includes flight disruption and lost luggage real-time assistance solutions. This endeavour is in partnership with Blink Parametric.  

The Blink Parametric flight disruption solution requires a customer to register their flight details via a dedicated BCAA portal prior to travel. Blink Parametric will then monitor the customer’s flight in real-time. If a delay exceeding two hours occurs on the fight schedule, the customer is automatically notified and offered different outcomes which fall in line with their policy terms to alleviate the stress of the delay. The options provided by BCAA include airport lounge access or a cash payment, issued in real time.  

The lost and delayed airline luggage solution offers live support to customers whose checked luggage cannot be located following an airport arrival. BCAA customers will simply register their lost luggage via the BCAA portal and be offered timely solutions. Compensation will be offered based upon the length of the delay or the potential loss of luggage.  

Both systems are designed with enhanced customer experience in mind, giving users reassurance during their travels.
