Fletchers Group has announced the election of five new partners, as part of its strategy to attract and retain talent from within the business. The new appointments bring the number of partners to 22, alongside 16 directors.
Two new partners are drawn from Serious Injury Law, which Fletchers acquired in February 2024, and the other three are from the clinical negligence team across its network of offices and businesses. They are Michelle Heyes, personal injury associate, Serious Injury Law, Bolton; Claire Hutchinson, personal injury senior solicitor, Serious Injury Law, Cambridge; Francesca Paul, clinical negligence associate, Fletchers Solicitors, Southport; Katy Link, clinical negligence associate, Minton Morrill, Leeds; and Tim Moulton, clinical negligence associate, Fletchers Solicitors, Liverpool.
Commitment to talent and growth
Fletchers’ chief legal officer, Adrian Denson, emphasised the firm’s dedication to nurturing talent and enhancing career satisfaction within the team. He stated, “This is an ongoing programme to recognise and promote some of the most talented lawyers in the sector. Our new partners will play a major role in formulating the strategy and direction of travel for Fletchers Group, drawing on their experience as first-class lawyers supporting injured people across both clinical negligence and serious injury. Each of them has worked incredibly hard to reach this point and have consistently demonstrated dynamic leadership, commitment to our values and mission, and a relentless drive to always raise the bar.”
Denson highlighted the geographical diversity of the new partners, saying, “That our new partners have been drawn from all over the UK also expresses how Fletchers has grown out of its roots in Southport to cross-UK coverage.”
Embracing modern working practices
Denson added that the partnership programme is part of a broader set of policies aimed at keeping the Group at the forefront of law firms embracing modern working practices. He noted, “We have continued to develop a full flexible working environment for both developing and experienced lawyers, including full home working, daily working and shareable jobs; our maternity and paternity strategy is designed to position Fletchers as a genuine leader in this field.”
