Blume acquires Claims.co.uk

Marketing collective Blume acquires Claims.co.uk to drive growth in an “exciting new chapter”.

Blume, a fast-growing marketing collective focused on the legal sector, has acquired lead generation business Claims.co.uk in a move designed to accelerate its expansion in the personal injury and clinical negligence markets.

The Belfast-based Claims.co.uk brand, well known for its digital presence and high-quality enquiry generation, will continue to operate independently under its existing name and leadership. Founder and managing director John Quail will remain in post, and the team will continue to serve both Blume and other clients.

Blume chief executive Alex Kenny (pictured) described the acquisition as a “natural strategic fit” for the business and praised Claims.co.uk’s marketing expertise and lead quality. “Our marketing collective has grown significantly over the last six months, and we’re forecasting double-digit growth again next year,” he said. “While we generate the majority of our leads ourselves, we’ve been really impressed by the Claims.co.uk team, both with the quality of their leads, the return on spend for the collective, and their considerable marketing experience in the sector.”

“We’ve worked with Claims.co.uk for over 12 months now and are really excited to welcome them to Blume. John has built a fantastic business and brand, and the collaboration between marketing teams will allow us to innovate and amplify our efforts so we can capitalise on new business opportunities as well as grow our law firm panels.”

The acquisition marks the first under Kenny’s leadership, following his succession from Blume founder Dez Derry in early 2024. It follows a period of rapid growth for the company, including the opening of a new office in south Manchester and the appointment of Adam Fletcher as chief customer officer.

Quail said joining forces with Blume offered “an exciting new chapter” for Claims.co.uk. “We’ve supplied marketing collectives with high quality personal injury enquiries for over a decade and Blume’s contact centre performance, use of data, and passion for client care has been particularly impressive to us,” he said. “[This partnership] will allow us to grow the business alongside Blume’s own panel growth, while providing the added resources and benefits that come with being part of a larger group, and our clients will benefit from the new combined business capabilities.”

The two businesses will now collaborate more closely, particularly across their marketing functions, with the aim of unlocking new opportunities and increasing value for clients.

Blume, formerly known as mmadigital, rebranded in 2023 to reflect its evolution into a wider legal marketing collective.
