Keoghs appoints three new partners

Keoghs has bolstered its technical claims department with the appointment of three new partners.

Estelle Machell, Mike Pope, and Anthony Mangham, are all senior technical experts and join the firm from Clyde & Co, Weightmans and Berrymans Lace Mawer respectively.

Machell is one of a select group of UK solicitors to handle claims in excess of £500,000 for insurers. She qualified in 2002 and worked as an assistant attorney in San Francisco before developing an extensive and varied practice advising and defending large loss and catastrophic personal injury claims, including those in excess of £5 million.

Pope returns to Keoghs after six years as a partner at Weightmans and is an expert in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputees, chronic pain and fatal accidents. He also has extensive experience of public liability claims, sporting injuries, contempt of court and MIB litigation.

Mangham will handle large loss property liability and recovery claims for insurers and specialises in cases involving insurance coverage issues. He has represented insurers and their policyholders in high value disputes in Technology and Construction Courts and Commercial Courts across a range of sectors including property damage liability/recovery, product liability, public liability and healthcare.
