Paul Stanley, the chief executive officer of 360Globalnet, has been recognised for his vision and creativity at the Claims Innovation Awards.
Stanley picked up the lifetime achievement award on 4 June at the Midland Hotel in Manchester for his work in the claims sector, which has seen him at the forefront of positive and cutting edge strategies in fraud detection and technological advances.
He devised and implemented a fixed cost of claim product for insurers, setting up a captive insurance company for InFront Solutions an outsourcing company he founded in 2000. The same model has been developed to see major reinsurers backing InFront’s financial performance directly, a first in the industry. In 2010 he founded the 360Globalnet Group which develops digital technology via online video, data systems and analytics to help Companies make better, faster and informed decisions.
Mark Hewitt, a director at piCalculator, was named as the Outstanding Innovator of the Year for his work with the company, which provides costs software to prepare a schedule of loss for personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
Other winners on the night included Ageas Insurance, which won Best Insurance Claims Department of the Year and whose employee, Ryan Pollard, was named Rising Star of the Year. Speed Medical won the Best Marketing Initiative award, while Bott & Co got the judges’ nod in the Best Use of Technology category.
Nesbit Law Group was chosen as the winner of the Client Care Initiative and S&G Response claimed the title of Claims Management Company Team of the Year. Forbes Solicitors was chosen for Legal Services Team of the Year and reach and Clerksroom scooped up the Associated Industries Team of the Year and Online Initiative awards respectively.
