Horwich Farrelly has appointed Karen Mann and Jason Spencer as two new partners at the firm.
Together they bring over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, enabling Horwich Farrelly to continue to extend its offering to address the fraud and liability challenges facing its insurance clients.
Mann has joined the firm from Greenwoods, where she was head of the Counter Fraud Group and managed sites in London, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Southampton. She deals with high value PI claims, credit hire and motor insurance fraud. She will work from the firm’s London office, along with three former Greenwoods team members.
Spencer has been appointed as a partner at the firm’s Manchester head office. He joins from Parabis, where he was also a partner with a group strategic role. Prior to that he spent 15 years with Hill Dickinson, where he was Head of Insurance for five years.
Philip O’Hagan, Horwich Farrelly’s managing partner, said that Mann and Spencer were high calibre individuals with a wealth of expertise under their belts.
“These are significant appointments that secure the ongoing growth and success of Horwich Farrelly, as we continue to grow and expand our offering to the insurance sector,” he said.
