Horwich Farrelly has moved its Cardiff branch into larger premises less than two years after first setting up in the city.
The move to the 3,000 sq ft space at Helmont House on Churchill Way will allow the firm to double its Cardiff-based workforce. The site, located minutes from the city’s railway station and the Millennium Stadium, was selected to provide additional space for an increasing number of employees and to be more accessible for clients.
Simon Curtis, a partner at Horwich Farrelly and head of the Cardiff office, said that the success of the Cardiff team was reflected in the move to a new office space, which he said the firm was intending to fill in the next two years by increasing the number of local employees from 20 to 40.
“The increase in workforce will see new appointments at various levels across the business, for which we have already started a local recruitment campaign,” he said.
“Changing location and adding to the expertise of the team gives us the scope to expand the range of services we provide to existing clients based in Wales, as well as allowing us to take on more work from insurance clients from across the west of the UK. We are all looking forward to the opportunities for business growth provided by the move, and adding to our close-knit team.”
