Building Validation Solutions and Plastic Surgeon combine to provide more cost effective insurance repair work

Building Validation Solutions (BVS) has announced that it is working in partnership with hard surface repair specialist Plastic Surgeon to provide what it calls a “unique service” for the claims industry.

BVS provides an independent claim validation service for many of the UK’s property insurers. It has partnered with Plastic Surgeon to provide customers with less disruptive and more cost effective solutions for insurance repair work.

Plastic Surgeon provides cosmetic repairs to damaged surfaces that would in usual circumstances require replacement. They work across the UK in a wide range of industries ranging from construction companies to major retailers, as well as working directly for many of the major UK insurers. It says that these industries have benefited greatly from its service, saving them 2,500 tons of landfill each year.

BVS managing director Chris Brown said that Plastic Surgeon’s ethos was very much aligned to that of BVS.

“Its pioneering service takes away the effect of having to replace damaged items such as sanitary ware kitchen work tops, UPVC repairs and many other items, reducing the impact on the customer, saving the environment and mitigating costs,” said Brown.

“This is a unique venture which we believe will significantly reduce the cost of insurance property repairs, elapsed times and improve customer satisfaction rations. in addition, it will give our customers more choice when making a decision on how to settle their claim.”
