360Globalnet appoints Simon Yun-Farmbrough as executive chairman

360Globalnet has appointed Simon Yun-Farmbrough as its new executive chairman.

Yun-Farmbrough was previously vice chairman of Fenchurch Advisory Partners, a corporate finance advisory firm which focuses on financial services companies, which he co-founded in 2003.

The digitising insurance claims processes company believes that Yun-Farmbrough’s deep and broad industry expertise will help drive 360Globalnet’s sales further into the insurance market, in the UK and overseas. Having been a director of e-Business at Prudential, he has gained experience in e-business technology, consulting and financial services, which matches his board-level experience.

The appointment comes as 360Globalnet looks to strengthen its senior team to consolidate a stream of new business wins and a high number of enquiries.

Paul Stanley, 360Globalnet’s CEO, said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Simon to this new role as he is the perfect candidate to provide the direction and focus required for our business development goals; at a time when the business is geared to gain greater traction in the global insurance market.

“The insurance industry needs digital innovation, to provide the level of customer service that today’s policyholders expect.  Insurers that institute effective processes to streamline and contain or reduce costs through digital products and services, will have a far greater chance to prosper in a very competitive market.”

Simon Yun-Farmbrough said: “I look forward to working with Paul and his team to take 360Globalnet’s innovative digital technologies to new insurance customers, and enable them to face a host of business challenges; from improving customer service to controlling costs and indemnity spend, and even fraud mitigation.”
