Evolution has selected the claims management platform of insurtech company Iotatech to give it greater control over its claims handling and supply chain processes.
Securing the Evolution business is a key milestone for Iotatech, which launched its platform in late 2018 and secured Commercial & General as a customer in February.
The deal with Evolution means Iotatech’s claims platform is now being used in both the motor and household lines.
Evolution identified a software-as-a-solution financial model, a comprehensive claims supply chain functionality, speed of implementation, future-proof technology and interoperability with third parties as priorities when choosing a solution. Iotatech Claims is an internet of things-ready, pay-per-use solution available via Amazon Web Services.
Birmingham-based Evolution, which is led by Darren Cooper, provides buildings claims management services, including independent validation, loss mitigation, and building restoration and reinstatement to major insurers in the UK.
