Plastic Surgeon head of insurance Chris Edwards has been appointed to the BDMA executive committee.
The BDMA is the restoration industry’s certifying authority. The body is committed to raising industry standards, providing accreditation for professional practitioners and facilitating recognition of specialist services in the recovery and restoration sector.
Edwards will represent specialists in surface repair on the BDMA executive committee.
He has been involved with the BDMA in a variety of roles over several years. On his appointment, he said: “I am immensely proud to be appointed to the executive committee.”
“My key objective is to raise the profile of specialist restorers working in surface repair within the insurance industry, there are some great solutions out there and we need to make people aware of what options there may be.”
“I have worked with many current members of the BDMA over many years and know what value the accreditation and training that the BDMA provide gives to its members. It’s key that we expand our member base to include all the specialist restorers who provide some fantastic services.”
Specialist restoration company Plastic Surgeon, which has been nominated for Outsourced Partner of the Year at the British Claims Awards taking place this evening, has achieved 30% growth in the last 12 months.
