Rob Smale has joined the board of property specialist Claims Consortium Group as a non-executive director.
Smale, who was previously claims and then transformation director at Ageas UK, brings insurer experience and expertise to Claims Consortium Group.
Jeremy Hyams, chief executive officer of the group, said of Smale’s arrival: “We are pleased to welcome Rob to the board of directors: his focus on providing excellent customer service aligns perfectly with our company culture and business strategy.”
“He will bring a new perspective to the business and his expertise will help us as we continue to make transformative and disruptive changes not just to our own business, but the wider claims market.”
Smale continued: “During my time as a claims director I was lucky enough to have Claims Consortium Group as a supply partner. I am thrilled to be asked to join the board as a non-executive director and I hope to assist Jeremy and the rest of the team as they continue to innovate and grow. I believe Claims Consortium is well placed to master their purpose and they have the technology to support it.”
