Criterion appoints head of specialty services

High net-worth claims specialist Criterion has appointed Helena Evans as head of specialty services.

In this newly created role, Evans will be responsible for growing Criterion’s high net-worth business, including fine art and specie. She will also play an integral part in developing new services for clients. She will report to Mark Pierce, operations director at Criterion.

Evans has a strong background in loss adjusting stretching over 20 years. During this time, she has had significant experience of managing high net-worth, real estate and major loss claims. She also sits on the Women in CILA Group, championing the role of women in the loss adjusting profession.

Commenting on the appointment of Evans, Pierce said: “Helena brings a wealth of experience to the Criterion team and will play a key role in developing our capability into new lines of business.  She is also one of the most respected female adjusters around who has consistently delivered for her insurer and broker clients.”

Evans said: “Criterion has a fantastic reputation in the market for being the go-to loss adjuster for high net-worth claims. So I’m proud to be joining a team, which is purely focused on delivering the best possible HNW claims capability to its clients. It’s a great fit for me and I look forward to growing the business.”
