SiriusPoint announce partnership with property casualty MGA Eaton Gate

In a significant move aimed at bolstering its presence in the UK property casualty insurance market, global specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has unveiled a groundbreaking partnership with London-based Managing General Underwriter (MGU) Eaton Gate.

Eaton Gate writes in excess of £100 million GWP through its group of managing general agents (MGA) and is one of the largest MGU/MGAs in the UK. This alliance with SiriusPoint signifies a strategic step forward for both entities. 

At the heart of this partnership is a shared focus on the UK property casualty insurance landscape. The deal reinforces SiriusPoint’s highly targeted strategy to develop MGA partnerships based on income, risk appetite alignment and synergy with the company’s underwriting expertise, vision and values.
