Sheffield’s STEPS Rehabilitation honoured with two awards

STEPS Rehabilitation is a neurological and complex trauma rehabilitation facility based in Sheffield. The facility recently received awards at two business ceremonies, acknowledging its contributions to neurological rehabilitation.

The unLTD Business Awards 2023 took place at Peddlers Warehouse in Sheffield. The judging panel awarded ‘Medium Sized Business of the Year’ to STEPS Rehabilitation. The awards focus on recognising start-ups, SMEs, and entrepreneurs in the region. The facility’s recognition highlighted its impact in delivering intensive rehabilitation for individuals recovering from complex trauma injuries. The facility’s design includes 22 ensuite bedrooms, an independent living apartment, skills kitchen, café, music room, garden room, therapy gyms, and a hydrotherapy pool. The facility sets new standards in neurological rehabilitation and provides access to robotic and virtual reality technology.

Founder and business development director, Jules Shiel-Boulger, expressed gratitude for the local recognition, she commented.

STEPS Rehabilitation also recieved the ‘North East, Yorkshire, and Humber Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2023’ award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Sisters Jules Shiel-Boulger and Toria Chan, in collaboration with their father, Ray Boulger, co-founded and manage STEPS Rehabilitation. They have assisted over 300 individuals in rebuilding their lives. The facility’s approach, combining traditional therapies with state-of-the-art technology and expert medical care, has earned national recognition.
