A brilliant year for Moneyfacts Travel Insurance Star Ratings 2026

Moneyfacts is pleased to announce the Moneyfacts Annual Star Ratings 2026 for Travel Insurance.

  • For 2026 the number of policies that achieved a five-star stands at 159 for annual policies and 153 for single trip policies, with 144 annual policies achieving a four-star and 134 for single trip policies, and 119 achieving a three-star for annual policies and 121 for single trip policies.
  • The number of products assessed has risen, with an additional 22 policies in the market.
  • Over 100 fields of information per individual product were collected for the policies.

The products awarded Five-, Four- or Three-Star Ratings offer the most comprehensive range of standout features and competitive limits, which set them apart from the rest of the market.

Moneyfacts has been analysing data for more than 35 years, with the instantly recognisable Moneyfacts badge of quality helping inform consumers when comparing Travel Insurance.
