Drew O’Donnell joins Hines Associates

Hines Associates is pleased to welcome Drew O’Donnell to the team.

Before joining Hines in April 2026, he worked at Blackstone on their Credit and Real Estate Debt Strategies teams for 3 years. During his time there, he worked on a significant number of transactions across the credit sector, gaining significant experience in transaction execution and portfolio management. Prior to Blackstone, he spent two years in the Banking and Capital Markets assurance team at PwC.

Drew is a recent MBA graduate from IESE Business School. During his time at IESE, he worked at Crandon Asset Management, Middle Market Asset Manager, specializing in private credit and asset backed lending where deployed capital primarily in the Iberian region. Across his roles, he has worked closely with senior management teams, financial sponsors, lenders, and government-related entities.

Drew holds a BS and a Masters in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from IESE Business School. Outside of work, Drew enjoys a range of sports, including football, tennis, golf, surfing, and skiing.

Richard Hines noted: “Drew will help us expand our growing debt advisory capabilities and services to the credit sector. Doing so much work with US PE, it is good to finally have an American on the team. We will announce further hires shortly.”
