Jensten appoints Clive Buesnel as Group Chief Executive

Jensten Group has appointed Clive Buesnel as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective 2 November 2026, and subject to regulatory approval. He will succeed Rob Organ who has led Jensten since 2021 when he joined as CEO from Tasker Insurance Group.

Clive joins from Insurance Advisory Partners, where he is Managing Partner, International, working closely with insurance CEOs, boards and investors while helping build the firm’s international franchise. He previously served as Group CEO of Tysers, where he led the transformation, integrated three major businesses, modernised the technology and operations and strengthened the leadership team.

Earlier in his career, Clive, as one of the founders, built and scaled the Xchanging Insurance division to c.£140m revenue and £26m EBITDA and was the CEO of Lloyd’s carrier Jubilee.  At Deloitte, Clive developed the London Market practice before becoming UK Insurance Leader and a Vice Chairman of the firm. He has advised many of the largest brokers and carriers globally and has been closely involved in major industry transformation programmes.

Under Rob Organ’s leadership Jensten has grown from 200 colleagues in 2001 to over 1,000 and tripled the Gross Written Premium within its control, successfully refinancing the business at the end of 2025 and more recently completing its transition to a divisional structure, with dedicated leadership of both Broking and Product & Distribution now in place.

David McMillan, Chair of Jensten, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Clive, one of the most respected and successful leaders in our market who brings a unique understanding of brokers, insurance carriers, M&A and technology from his time at IAP, Deloitte, Tysers and Xchanging. This combination of strategic perspective, operational expertise and proven ability to drive performance positions him strongly to lead the next chapter of growth for Jensten.

“Rob has been critical in the building of this business, taking it on its initial growth journey to the strong position we find ourselves in today. Having built the divisional structure that will underpin the group’s next phase, Rob felt this was the right moment to hand over the reins.”

Rob Organ commented:

“Building Jensten to what it is today has been right up there amongst the proudest achievements of my career. Clive will bring a new perspective that will be welcomed across the group, and there is nobody better placed to take this forward.”

Clive Buesnel said:

“Jensten is a great business that has built national scale without taking trading decisions away from the people who know the client best. In our rapidly changing world, this is a very exciting time to be given the opportunity to lead the next chapter of development and growth – combining outstanding talent, innovative technology and AI with the backing of Bain Capital to create an exceptional business delivering market leading
