Irwin Mitchell has teamed up with esure to form an ABS called IMe Law.
The new tie-up is supposed to simplify the litigation process for Esure customers and accelerate access to legal advice, provided by Irwin Mitchell.
The tie-up between the firm and insurer follows a long-standing relationship between the two businesses and will see a dedicated team in Sheffield providing legal representation for esure customers who are injured in motor accidents where another party was at fault.
Andrew Tucker, the group chief executive at Irwin Mitchell, said that the partnership was a "clear vote of confidence" in the firm's work with the insurer.
"It again demonstrates our determination as a business to be at the forefront of the developing legal sector and also our continued commitment to this type of work and in ensuring clients continue to get the best possible outcomes," he said.
Gordon Hannah, chief operating officer at esure, said that the company was “committed to the effective and speedy recovery of uninsured losses for injured customers" and that the IMe Law would enhance the service the insurer provided to customers.
