Gary Boyd, a partner with Hilary Meredith Solicitors, has cycled 346 kilometres from London to Amsterdam to fundraise for the Spinal Injuries Association.
The challenge, which started at Tunbridge Wells and ventured through Kent, Dover and Calais to arrive in Amsterdam, lasted a grueling three days.
Boyd, who is a co-ordinator for the Spinal Injuries Association Community Support Yorkshire and Humberside, endured half a year of intense training across the countryside of Chesire to prepare for the event, which raised over £50,000 in total.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have completed this challenge,” said Boyd. “The support I received really spurred me on when I needed it most. I’ve met so many fantastic people along the way and would like to thank everyone for their donations and encouragement.”
Hilary Meredith, CEO of Hilary Meredith Solicitors said: “On behalf of the whole firm, I would like to congratulate Gary. He put himself through months of hard work and training and should be proud of his achievement.”
