Chaired by the ex-MP and barrister Nick Hawkins, the conference will look at how Yorkshire’s legal community can help make the Northern Powerhouse project a success and what opportunities are available for firms across the region.
Covering topics such as devolution, Brexit and foreign investment, conference delegates will hear from speakers such as Jonathan Oxley, from the Institute of Directors for Yorkshire & the Humber; Tom Riordan, the chief executive of Leeds City Council; Amy Harhoff, head of policy & strategy for Transport for the North; Grant Peggie from The British Business Bank; and a number of top lawyers from Yorkshire.
