Horwich Farrelly appoints Martin McKenna as partner

Horwich Farrelly has appointed Martin McKenna, an expert in complex and high value personal injury claims in liability and motor, as a new partner.

McKenna (pictured) worked for the firm some 15 years ago as a solicitor and joins from Keoghs. He brings more than 20 years’ legal and technical experience to Horwich Farrelly where he will be primarily focused on developing the firm’s defendant capabilities. He has studied towards and completed an MBA and has been closely involved with a major UK insurer in successfully challenging the status quo in the way insurance claims are handled.

McKenna said that the firm had grown enormously since his time there, particularly within the past two years, having invested heavily in raising its profile and solidifying its position as a market-leader in claims handling.

The announcement follows the recent appointments of Tony McLoughlin and Alistair Graham, and brings Horwich Farrelly’s total number of Partners to 33.
