Weightmans has appointed Paul Ryman-Tubb to its insurance team.
He is expected to join Weightmans as a partner in late 2019.
Ryman-Tubb will join the firm from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB), where he spent nearly 20 years, most recently as chief technical officer. Weightmans continues to work with MIB as part of its legal panel.
He has worked with a range of important stakeholders in the insurance industry over many years on a variety of issues. He has been closely involved with the work of the MIB technical committee, including as chair.
Weightmans will benefit from Ryman-Tubb’s wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the insurance market and its interaction with the regulators and government. He will add strength to the insurance team on both technical matters and market insights.
