Clyde & Co appoints medical negligence specialist

Law firm Clyde & Co has appointed medical negligence specialist Louise Jackson as a partner in its Manchester office. 

The healthcare group at Clyde & Co provides a variety of legal services to the public and commercial sectors in the UK and around the world. 

Jackson, a skilled practitioner of defendant clinical negligence, joins from law firm Browne Jacobson. 

She defends primary care physicians and private clinicians on behalf of the Medical Protection Society (MPS), as well as clinical negligence cases for NHS Resolution, private clients, and insurers. 

Claire Petts, head of healthcare at Clyde & Co, spoke about the appointment. 

She said: “Our healthcare team has seen significant growth recently and Louise’s appointment allows us to provide expert response to this increased client demand.
