Kennedys welcomes new partners and offices worldwide

Kennedys, a global law firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution, is marking another year of growth and success. Kennedys has welcomed a new cohort of partners and expanded its international presence over the past 12 months.

The firm’s growth over the past year is evident in its expansion efforts. Kennedys had opened new offices in Fort Lauderdale, US, and Newcastle, UK. Additionally, Kennedys has relocated to new premises in Paris, Dubai, and Bermuda.

Kennedys’ dedication to growth is further underscored by its recruitment efforts, having welcomed a total of 18 partners globally over the past year. Notable additions include a nine-strong team in London from Plexus Law and a team of 12 in the Sydney office from Clyde & Co.

 

Recent promotions worldwide

The newly promoted partners represent a diverse range of expertise across various regions, including Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and North America.

Bertha Ng, specialising in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, has earned a partnership at Kennedys in Hong Kong.

Nathan Buck and Con Kakakios in Sydney have garnered recognition for their expertise in defamation, reputational management, and insurance law.

In Dubai, Reem Bangina, Mehdi Seadon, and Rishi Sengupta have achieved partner status, reflecting their contributions to the firm’s aviation and transport practice, as well as insurance and reinsurance law.

North America has seen the promotion of Ryan McInerney, Nate French, Colin Willmott, Hilary Simon, and Shain Wasser to partners, acknowledging their achievements across insurance coverage, personal injury, and commercial litigation.

In the UK, Lauren Gosnell, Elisa Peachey, Laura Madders, Philip Kusiak, Rebecca Maby, and Vicki Teasdale have attained partnership. Their expertise is in managing complex and high-value claims across diverse sectors.
