Keoghs welcomes new partner

Keoghs expands ProFin team with new partner appointment in Birmingham

Keoghs is expanding its professional and financial risks (ProFin) team with the appointment of Jo Lewis as a new partner. Jo brings over 14 years of experience in handling claims for insurers and their insureds. She has a strong background in dealing with multi-million pound, cross-jurisdictional disputes.

Jo’s expertise spans a variety of professional negligence claims. She has defended solicitors, construction professionals, property professionals, insolvency practitioners, and accountants. Jo will assume her new role in September, based in Birmingham, where she will lead and grow a new dedicated team. This move will enhance Keoghs’ existing regional capabilities. Birmingham will become the third location for the ProFin team, following London and Liverpool, and represents a new office for Keoghs.

New appointment to drive growth in Birmingham

Jo expressed excitement about her new role. She said, “Keoghs’ ProFin team has a great track record for growth and an excellent reputation for resolving professional indemnity claims and disputes quickly and cost-effectively, with a strong emphasis on supporting clients to maintain their commercial relationships. I am thrilled to be working alongside such a strong team and to help grow the firm’s proposition in Birmingham.”

Dragos Stoica, partner at Keoghs, shared his enthusiasm for the team’s expansion. He stated, “We have experienced substantial growth in the ProFin team in recent years and we are delighted that with our clients’ continuing support we are able to expand in Birmingham. Growing our overall ProFin offering is a crucial part of our team’s growth plan.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jo to the team. We have no doubt that her extensive experience will be invaluable to our clients, and I look forward to working with her to make our ProFin offering in Birmingham a great success.”
