Price Forbes Singapore momentum continues with A&H senior appointment

Price Forbes Singapore today announces the appointment of Rajiv Ramakrishnan as Head of Accident & Health (A&H). He takes up the role with immediate effect and will report directly to Dick Heath, Head of Reinsurance and Wholesale.

In his new role, Rajiv will be responsible for developing the Price Forbes A&H offering in Southeast Asia and APAC. His appointment comes at a time of growing pressure on A&H insurers across APAC, with medical inflation outpacing general inflation alongside sustained post-pandemic demand for A&H products. His primary goal will be to help fill cedants’ coverage gaps in their A&H portfolios, including supporting carriers to launch new primary products across critical illness, lump-sum, travel and other A&H lines.

Rajiv joins from Liberty Mutual Insurance where he spent nine years and most recently held the role of Vice President, A&H Insurance Products, based in Thailand. He also has five years of experience in health economics across pharmaceuticals and hospital operations. Rajiv’s appointment adds to Price Forbes’ momentum in establishing itself as the broker of choice in the region.
