Neil Hudgell Solicitors has two new caseloads of work worth more than £1 million.
The clinical negligence and personal injury work, bought from South-East based firms Pictons Solicitors and Gordons Solicitors respectively, will be picked up by Neil Hudgell's London office.
The deal with Gordons will also see senior lawyer PI Sally Fromont move over to Neil Hudgell.
“These latest acquisitions enable us to establish further our presence in the south of the country where we are rapidly expanding our business and taking on new clients," said Neil Hudgell, managing director at the firm.
Keith Gordon, founder and managing partner of Gordons, said that following a strategic review and the advent of the Jackson Reforms, the firm felt that its resources should be concentrated around its core strengths of corporate commercial, litigation, commoditised remortgaging and conveyancing services.
"The transfer of work has been extremely smooth and we believe it’s in the best interests of our clients that a specialist firm such as Neil Hudgell Solicitors has taken on their claims. The relocation of our head of PI Sally Fromont to the London office of Neil Hudgell Solicitors will also ensure continuity for clients.”
