Blake Morgan has launched a new claims firm called BL Claims Solicitors.
The firm will deal with personal injury, clinical negligence and travel claims and is headed up by Dr. John White, a dual-qualified solicitor and doctor who was head of the clinical negligence team at Blake Lapthorn, the firm that merged with Morgan Cole in July this year to create Blake Morgan.
BL Claims Solicitors will build on Blake Lapthorn’s 25 years’ experience and reputation in clinical negligence, personal injury and travel claims, with a particular focus on catastrophic claims.
Dr White said that Blake Lapthorn had already built a great reputation for offering high quality advice and delivering expertise with empathy.
“We are taking this reputation forward with the launch of BL Claims Solicitors, and as we actively recruit to grow our teams we are looking forward to consolidating our position as a major force,” he said.
Dr White will be supported by Alison McClure, who as as a non-executive director will advise on business strategy and financial management.
BL Claims Solicitors’ senior management team will also include personal injury expert David Healey, who joins the firm from Sampson Coward; Kym Provan, who specialises in clinical negligence claims; and Daniel Scognamiglio, a specialist in multi-jurisdictional disputes and travel insurance litigation.
