Express Solicitors, is celebrating a double success after hitting a 15.4% revenue increase and being named in the Legal 500 for the first time.
The firm has increased in annual fee income over the last 12 months from £8.7m to £10,038,330 having seen its caseloads grow to 6612 over the same period. During that time the firm acquired new claimant files thanks to a £10.06 m refinancing package from RBS Corporate.
As a result, Express Solicitors has expanded its team from 163 employees to 177 including 70 fee earners and 16 partners.
The firm has also been ranked for personal injury and for clinical negligence in the Legal 500. The publication has also recommended head of clinical negligence, Ben Gent, for demonstrating “skill, thoroughness and efficiency in all areas of clinical negligence”.
The managing partner at Express Solicitors, James Maxey, said that the news was testament to the hard work of all the firm’s employees.
“We have put a robust growth strategy in place that see us consistently outperform targets year-on-year; this includes acquiring other personal injury law firms as going concerns, or caseloads, with a bespoke line of funding in place to be able to do this at pace if necessary,” he said.
