Legal expenses and assistance provider ARAG has expanded its after-the-event (ATE) insurance operation with four new appointments.
Jonathan Bassey (pictured below) has joined the company as an account manager for the company’s after-the-event (ATE) business and will be working with law firms and ATE intermediaries, particularly in the North and East of England. His appointment is a signal of increasing demand among solicitors for the company’s growing range of ATE solutions.
ARAG has also appointed another new ATE underwriter, William Snelling, as well as Harriet Dean, who joined the ATE division’s case management unit recently. Claims Auditor Jaskaren Dhaliwal, who will work auditing both ATE and BTE case files is the fourth appointment.
Director and Head of ATE, Paul Hurley said: “At a time when several ATE providers have left the market in one way or another, ARAG is continuing our path of steady growth.”
On Bassey’s appointment, Hurley said: “Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the legal market that will assist us as we expand our ATE product range to existing and new customers.”
The appointments continue a period of steady expansion for ARAG, which passed the 100 employee milestone earlier this year.
