DWF launches claims management service in France

DWF has launched a claims management service in France as it looks to become a “global partner” for insurers.

Called DWF Claims France, the service will provide insurers with quickly accessible claims managers. The new venture will sit under the firm’s Connected Service division and covers the entire claims chain including claims management, appointment of experts, application of the terms of the policy, correspondence with insured persons to the resolution of disputes relating to coverage and the exercise of subrogation procedures.

The firm says that the proposition, which has already been adopted by some UK insurers, allows the claims process to be administered at a cost-effective rate.

The offer complements the insurance law practice of DWF France AARPI, headed by Romain Dupeyré, a partner at DWF. Carole Demarquay will be the first claims manager for DWF Claims France. She holds a master’s degree in insurance law from the University of Montpellier, and previously worked as a claims manager at AXA France.
