Insure Apps adds property and liability

Insure Apps has added property and liability claims to its reporting app.

Launched last year for motor claims, Insure Apps, a British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) partner, has followed up with the property and liability addition to Claims Made Easy, which helps brokers and their clients to better capture and handle claims information.

Issues over slow and incomplete reporting of claims affect property and liability in a similar way to motor, according to Insure Apps. Its new modules help guide a client through what information needs to be captured and allows the broker to pre-configure where the data is sent—information instantly to a loss adjustor, an insurer or their own in-house claims team.

For property, the benefits of the new service include faster reporting times, greater details, type of damage, its approximate cost and the capture of details of anyone potentially responsible.

Benefits for liability include the date, time and location of incident, all injury and witness details, and photos of the scene.

Stephen Marshall, managing director at Insure Apps, said: “It’s great to be fulfilling the next stage in helping to digitise insurance. Just look at the way people use their phones, it’s a logical and exciting step on the journey.”

“With the backing of BIBA, some key brokers and insurers we’ve only just started, the more people that come on board the better the collaboration and ideas generated become.”
