Endsleigh launches digital insurance solution for students

Endsleigh Insurance has launched its digital student gadget and possessions proposition with technology company Acturis.

Acturis completed the required student insurance re-launch and legacy platform migration in four months, according to the insurer.

Endsleigh’s new proposition uses the capabilities of Acturis to provide mobile web journeys, online renewals, personalised pricing, anti-fraud screening, zero-touch migration and back-end automation for the insurer’s student packages.

Justin Dirkin, chief information officer at Endsleigh, said: “A digital gadget and student possessions proposition is a core part our strategy for transforming and growing Endsleigh.”

“Speed to market was key to for us and the digital capabilities of Acturis enabled us to migrate and relaunch within four months. We need to thank the Endsleigh and Acturis teams for coming together and delivering with pace and professionalism. We look forward to working with Acturis to support our landlord and non-standard home propositions.”

Jim Lorimer, director of personal lines at Acturis, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Endsleigh on such a key part of their transformation and growth. Our capability to deliver for Endsleigh reflects the ongoing investment in our personal lines proposition. We look forward to working with the Endsleigh team on other elements of their transformation.”

Leeds-headquartered CPP Group UK launched a new cyber insurance product on the Acturis platform in October for small- and medium-sized entities.

In the same month, Acturis launched its first cyber add-on product with HSB Engineering Insurance.

The launch saw HSB Engineering Insurance, part of Munich Re, become the first insurer to go live with the cyber add-on solution on the Acturis platform.
