NFU Mutual appoints Paul Branch as head of claims

Rural insurer NFU Mutual has appointed Paul Branch as head of claims.

Branch joined NFU Mutual five years ago and moved on to a strategic claims programme two years later as business lead responsible for building a new operating model and strengthening customer experience. More recently, he has also been the acting head of claims.

He has been in the insurance claims sector for more than 25 years, having previously held positions at Commercial Union, Churchill and Direct Line, where he managed teams across the UK in all classes of general insurance.

As part of his new role, Branch will lead the continued development of NFU Mutual’s claims strategy while improving our award-winning customer service alongside strong fiscal management.

Commenting on the appointment, Branch said: “I’m honoured to be given this opportunity to lead our fantastic teams as we evolve our capabilities.”

“My focus will be to continuously improve the value proposition for our customers whilst developing stronger cost management and benefits for the business.”

Branch will be based at NFU Mutual’s head office in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
