Kudo, the provider of a motor insurance app, has partnered with the AA to provide its customers with an annual breakdown policy when they purchase motor insurance.
Through the partnership, Kudo customers who choose the add-on will receive Kudo Roadside Assistance, served by the AA.
The Kudo app tracks its customers’ driving, scoring them based on the quality and only offering insurance quotes to drivers over a certain standard.
An element of gamification rewards drivers with ‘Koins’ for safe journeys completed, which Kudo customers can exchange for a number of prizes available via the app.
As part of the agreement with the AA, Kudo customers who add breakdown cover to their policy will receive Roadside Assistance, Home Start and National Recovery to ensure they’ll be covered for every eventuality.
Speaking about the collaboration, Andy Webb, chief operating officer at Kudo, commented: “This latest addition to our offering is a great example of how Kudo is a genuine challenger and disruptor within the motor insurance space.”
“We offer something very different to the usual insurance providers and we’re really excited to be working with the AA to provide our customers with award-winning breakdown cover, bringing them full peace-of-mind while behind the wheel.”
Gavin Franks, director of business services at the AA, added: “Our new partnership with Kudo is a prime example of the work we do here at the AA.”
“Customer service will always remain a priority for us and we’re extremely proud to be providing Kudo’s customers with the opportunity to have AA breakdown cover alongside their motor insurance, giving customers complete confidence in the event of a breakdown.”
