HDI Global Specialty UK names new claims director

HDI Global Specialty UK has appointed Kirsten Westly to the role of claims director.

She will report to Rafael Rebitzky, managing director and chief underwriting officer at the specialty lines insurer, with effect from 1 November.

Westly will take over the role from Clare Constable, who will leave HDI in November.

She joined HDI two years ago and currently leads the specialty lines insurer’s financial and professional lines claims team.

Westly is a qualified solicitor and has more than 15 years of insurance market experience having worked previously at The Hartford and Navigators.

Rebitzky commented: “Since joining HDI, Kirsten has provided strong leadership to the financial and professional lines claims team. She has built a very capable team that has provided excellent claims handling service to our broker partners.”
