HF onboards 21 new people in its recoveries team

Law firm HF has onboarded 21 new people to its rapidly growing recoveries department based in its flagship head office in Media City, Manchester.

The hires take HF’s total number of people in the specialist area to more than 100, making it one of the largest teams in the field, according to the law firm.

Its recoveries team works for several large insurers and have seen consistent and increasing success for clients, recovering more than £14.4 million during Q1 2023, and taking over 57,000 instructions during the last year.

Commenting on the announcement, Ronan McCann, chief executive officer and managing partner at HF, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome so many new colleagues to HF.

“The success of our recoveries team means we’re always looking to recruit new talent and the addition of their skills will support our growth plans and help us continue to deliver the excellent levels of service our clients expect.”

The new follows HF’s appointment of experienced litigator and partner Michael Rimmer as its chief operating officer.
