
Keoghs is solidifying its presence in Scotland through two appointments in its Glasgow offices. Keoghs Scotland has chosen Laurie Traynor and Zoe Strong as its new partners. This move takes place against the backdrop of Keoghs’ growth in the past year.
Laurie Traynor, with a 22-year long career, brings experience in defending large employer and public liability and motor claims. Her expertise extends to criminal law, encompassing the management of health and safety executive and motor prosecutions/fatal accident inquiries. Traynor’s track record includes advising insurers, corporations, public entities, and individuals on complex regulatory claims, particularly those stemming from fatalities and catastrophic incidents. She has also demonstrated proficiency in handling high-profile and sensitive cases that attract media attention.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Laurie Traynor stated, “As well as the impressive client list at Keoghs, the market-leading team here played a large part in my decision to join. I am delighted to strengthen both the large loss and HSE/motor prosecution defence offerings in Scotland. I look forward to using my expertise to assist Keoghs clients wherever I can.”
Zoe Strong, boasts over two decades of experience in industrial disease claims across England and Scotland. Keoghs’ Scottish disease team will be led by Zoe. Specialising in high-value and complex asbestos claims, Strong has defended a diverse clientele. This includes insurers, local authorities, central government, and large self-insured clients spanning various industries. In her new role, Strong aims to expand the team, actively recruiting to meet growing demand.
