Gallagher Bassett introduces new CEO

Gallagher Bassett, has appointed industry leader, Manan Sagar, as the chief executive officer of its UK operations.

Building on more than 60 years in business, Gallagher Bassett continues to strengthen its position with growth.

Commenting on the appointment, global president and CEO, Scott Hudson, said Manan’s appointment reflects the ongoing dedication and commitment of the organisation to serve the evolving needs of our clients.

“Manan is an exceptional leader with a proven track-record of driving growth and innovation across the insurance and technology sectors in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA. His expertise will ensure our dedicated teams continue to deliver on our promise of superior claim outcomes and exceptional service,” Scott Hudson said.

Manan joins GB UK from Genesys, where he was the global head of insurance – driving global coordination and improving customer and employee experiences. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Fujitsu, Capita, Allied World, Lockton, and Willis.

Early in his career he was an auditor at both Deloitte and KPMG. He is also a qualified chartered accountant.
