Raworths has rounded off 2025 with a series of appointments, promotions and career milestones across the firm, underlining its ongoing strategic growth plan.
The Harrogate-based law firm has strengthened both its private client and commercial offering, as well as its business services team, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of integrated legal services for businesses, families and individuals.
In the Commercial team, Catherine Pugh has joined as an associate in the Employment team, alongside Eve Gregory who has been appointed as a solicitor. In the Commercial Property team, Judith Pike joins as consultant partner, bringing additional senior expertise to the department; with Ramsha Nayab also joining as a solicitor. Jessie Wray joins as a paralegal in Corporate and Commercial, further enhancing support for the firm’s growing corporate client base.
Raworths’ Trusts, Wills & Estates team, one of the largest and most highly regarded in the region, has also welcomed a number of new hires in 2025. Lois Channon joins as senior associate, enhancing the team’s established senior expertise, and Oliver Foster joins as solicitor. Samantha Laycock has been appointed as probate executive, while Lucy Warren and Natalie Dorset have both been hired as paralegals.
The firm has also expanded its Business Services team with the appointment of Kiera McCarthy as receptionist with Victoria Inglis-Taylor promoted to senior receptionist.
Alongside new appointments, Raworths has also celebrated a series of promotions across its commercial and private client teams. Thaynara Charlesworth has been promoted to legal director in Corporate & Commercial, with Jennifer Watson stepping up to senior associate in the same team. In Trusts, Wills & Estates, Ryan Carter and Katie Watts have both been promoted to senior associate, while Heather Laws takes on a new role as associate.
The company is also supporting a number of colleagues on their journey to solicitor qualification, emphasising its commitment to nurturing future talent. Sophia Bavin and Scarlet Fleming have commenced their solicitor qualification via the SQE apprenticeship route and Emily Ryan has begun her trainee solicitor contract, taking their next steps in their legal careers.
Raworths ends the year with a trio of long-service milestones celebrating 20-year anniversaries with Sally Togher, Head of Employment, and long-standing secretaries Claire Clow and Debbie Laurence.
