Julie Usher, an associate solicitor with Zest Legal, the personal injury arm of Horwich Farrelly, has been appointed as the new vice chairman of the Manchester Claims Association.
Usher, who specialises in catastrophic injuries and complex claims and has over 20 years experience dealing with personal injury claims, will deputise for chairman Simon Burley.
“The Manchester Claims Association has a major role to play in the industry, and Horwich Farrelly has long been a supporter of the organisation and its work in helping to support those who work in the industry," said Usher.
“It also plays an important part in the discussion within the sector, by allowing its members to get together and keep informed of matters of mutual interest. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team.”
The association contributes with education and training and works closely with the Insurance Institute of Manchester to support continued professional development to the general insurance community.
