Maxwell Hodge moves away from partner-led model

Maxwell Hodge has appointed eight new department managers as part of a restructure which has seen it move away from a typical traditional partner-led business structure.

The move comes after the firm chose to become a limited company late last year. The eight managers, spilt among private client and commercial divisions, will be supported by department co-ordinators.

The new heads of department include David Wooding, who will lead the personal injury and occupational disease division and a new head of clinical negligence, Tim Moulton.

Company directors Claire Banks, Denise Scoular, and CEO Simon Leyland will lead the firm’s new management system.

“This new structure will give direct benefits to our clients,” said Leyland.

“The creation of the department co-ordinators will help streamline operations and further improve our high levels of customer service while our department managers will help identify new business opportunities and drive further growth.”

Maxwell Hodge employs 80 staff across eight offices. Its head office is in Liverpool.
