Accident Rehab develops new fast track assessment tool

Accident Rehab has developed a new fast track assessment tool that will make it possible for solicitors to get a case management-led rehabilitation diagnosis on their client’s within hours of notification.

The company has worked in conjunction with Livepoint Software Solutions and Laird Experts to create a bespoke product that will enable solicitors to make online instructions and monitor the progress of any ongoing cases until they are available for download.

Accident Rehab says that it has worked with the team at Laird to be able to learn from the latter’s automated systems to develop what it calls a unique tool which achieves a faster and more accurate resolution of claims.

Instructions can be made online using the portal on Accident Rehab’s website. Once the assessment has been completed, it will be possible to download reports almost instantaneously.

Helen Spillards, director of Accident Rehab said that the company had created a new product that would accelerate the rehabilitation process and enable solicitors to settle claims more efficiently. She said that it would also reduce the administrative costs that were currently associated with the rehabilitation industry.

“Laird are at the forefront of their industry which specialises in the assessment of motor vehicles and since the implementation of their software systems [they have] have seen a significant increase in their efficiency,” said Spillards.

“We believe that [with] an amalgamation of their knowledge of systems and our experience of health care, case management and rehabilitation, we have developed a product that will help to revolutionise the industry and take it to a new level.”
